Most of the time after a yellow comes out, the video freezes but the sound and controls continue to work. It freezes when trying to access the "behx.wav" file ("Stay behind the # car") and after usually about two or three seconds the video comes back along with the behx audio. I am running the JJ spotter pack, and everything else works perfectly. The funny thing is this doesn't happen every time, it seems to be random whether or not it freezes, although it freezes more often than not. It's very annoying and I normally destroy the car on a wall or another car while the video is frozen...
Anybody know how to fix this?

Is the Dat file modified?

I only use the original dat file and have loose spotter pack files in the sound folder. I've never had any game crashes from this,

Maybe try this method and see what happens.

I used to have this when using a Western Digital external, I have also heard of it happening with other WD drives.

Interesting, I'm using a Toshiba external... I'll see if that's the issue. Thanks!

I had this often in league races, a right PITA, I ended up replacing the sound file (just put the correctly named one into the spcc folder) with one of the other spotter sound files.
