Game Freezes up after about 10 laps in a race... ive tried graphics options and things like that.

Is there maybe another exe file to get?

Your problem is that you have a laptop. NR2003 was developed for a computer that can handle it well, even a gaming laptop would do well. And Dell isn't even the best machine maker out there anyways because Dell makes junk computers imho.

I would check your sound and video card drivers to make sure they're up to date.

@PepsiRacer: I had a dell desktop.. I hated that thing!!! This laptop.. Its built for gaming according to dell. 2gb Nvidia Card, 8gb ddr3? I mean, it runs newer games flawlessly

see i never had any issues before.. thats the thing that gets me. I mean I run the game 50-60fps on the bullring 2011 mod, maxed out details and 42 cars in front.

I just cant figure out why i keeps freezing up... maybe somthing is amiss in my Win7 install?

I've thought about putting a copy of xp on this laptop and trying that, like having a duel install? Any ideas, feedback.. Im really curious as to what people think.

Freezing, or freeze framing? There is a difference. If it is freeze framing or lagging, then you are suffering the same thing I am...

it'll act like its freeze lagging, then stops completely and black screen which i can Control alt delete to shut down the game that way

also at times, it'll Freeze and not black screen. at this point, i have to manually shut down the computer because it wont respond at all.

Did some testing, Fresh install.. Core cars and tracks. Tuned down graphics... Video card isnt running as hard. GeForce 540m.. Game didnt Freeze

Old install.. Froze with tuned down graphics.. Looks like I've got alot of re-installing to do?

apparently having too many mods/tracks in your papyras folder can sometimes cause crash issues, i swap stuff around as i need it and try not to have more than 5 mods and under 700 tracks in the pappy folder at one tume

well ive split up installs... like ive done on with nationwide stuff, a seperate install for trucks and a seperate install with cup... ect.

could this be an issue? so far im only having freezing issues with br2011.. but seen there was an updated version in sept. maybe that'll fix my issue, about to find out.
