How do you put a number on a kit car, or base temp. car? i think they are all tga files. so you have to put them in the import / export folder. but when i go into the paint shop, the car does'nt fit in the frame.it's way off in the corner.how do you get it in the frame so you can work on it ? thanks:mask:

If you're trying to add a template that you downloaded from one of the sites, it won't work in the in-game paint shop. You need a program like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro to edit your paintjob and add numbers. Then you add the temp as a .tga to your import/export folder and put it into the sim that way.

The only way you are going to get your template or kit car to fit in the frame of the in-game paint shop is to resize it to 512x512 pixels. The ones that you downloaded are 1024x1024, some are even 2048x2048 pixels. But as stated before you really ought to get Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop to get the best results.

No-Adobe Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro are not free. They are actually fairly expensive, but a good alternative is The Gimp, or The Gimpshop for a more Photoshop feel.
