I'm. Sorry if this is not the right spot to post this, it seems I can't post in the online racing forum quite yet. I live out in the middle of nowhere, where my high speed internet options are limited. I'm looking into getting a mobile broadband plan with Verizon. My question is, does anyone have any experience using mobile broadband to race, and does anyone know how much data is transfered during a typical race. This will help me decide what size package to get. Thanks in advance for any answers or advice I might receive.

I also live in the middle of nowhere. Wireless internet like Verizon or satellite like Hughesnet has too big of lag time.

does anyone know of a way to test it out, anyone plan on having a practice race anytime soon? I'm borrowing a friends mobile broadband usb modem until about 8pm EDT. I'd like to see how well, or unwell it works. I really dont want to sign up for any leagues until I know that I'll actually be able to race.
