Paintshop Pro- Howto Create a Stroke

I'll be using PSP 8 since that's what I have but it's the same all the way through. You can use the same base idea used here to create strokes on preset shapes and designs created w/ the pen/vector tool.

All Images and should be self explanatory if you have questions still post them and I'll try to answer them as quickly as I can.

Good tutorial, but I think there's an easier way to do this...can't you just create it as a floating? That's what I've always done and I've had no problems!

Yes you can use the floating selection to do this however these are the reasons not to:

Not as crisp edges or corners even the straight edges become blurred w/ the raster form of this.

Corners on an object you desire to have point become rounded w/ the raster form of the outline.


Is there more footwork involved? Yes, however in the end the extra steps make it well worth it for the quality and resizing is a breeze w/ no quality loss.
