Playstation Network still down!?!?!?

Is anybody else having this problem or is it just me? everytime i go to sign into the playstation network it says, currently under maitenance... thanks.

dalejrgamer is right: I got an e-mail from Sony that said the system was hacked and had to be shut down so they could investigate and improve security. No estimate as to when it will back online.

How are people just realizing it? It was hacked over 12 days ago. All credit card info is now stolen. Sony just appeared in front of Congress yesterday and although today was the rumor that it would be back on, there is no date as to when it will return. Many pay for services like Hulu and others that require you to log into PSN to use are now offering vouchers and so forth, so make sure you get a hold of those companies and not Sony for refunds etc. Unless you have a PSN plus account.
