I noticed that the Motor Speedway of the South in the first Cars film looks very similar to Dover.

Diffrences:
-Track logoing
-Scoring tower in center of track, which is waht Bristol has
-Pit road fits entire frontstrech
-No grass on frontstrech
-In the movie, the track was a night race.

Is it possible to create this track/can someone make it?

Chick spun Lightning shortly before causing the 40-car "big one" and Lightning went into an area of grass.

It's supposed to be a recreation of Bristol. The obvious difference being, there's grass.

you could make the track, but it would be a female dog trying to exit the pits the way it would have to be set up for NR2003 to work well with it.

It only had one pit road. The grass was just on the backstretch where Bristol's second pit road would have been.

Consequently, it would be impossible to have a race with more than 30 cars if it was made for NR2003.

I've only seen Cars one time (and if I'm being 100% honest, I was too lazy to do a Google search), so I didn't really know that. But the last sentence in your post was the point I was trying to make. Trying to set it up for a full field would be insane. Doable, yes, but insane.

Basically you just put some grass on the apron at Bristol it seems. But the 43 car pit stalls would be a huge pain... Like CGF said, do-able, but insane.

Or extend the track's front and backstretch.

Like I said, a nighttime version of DOVER, but with diffrent logoing and the pit road fits on the entire frontstrech.

Well think about it, realistically, the Cars "Piston Cup Series" only had like 33 cars racing in it, so that's how they could pull it off, jussayin.

No offense, but why do you insist that this looks like Dover? Just because it has grass?

It looks like a modified Bristol to me.

Bristol:

Speedway of the South (which would also suggest Bristol. Dover isn't in the South):

From Wikipedia:
The 2006 Disney-Pixar film Cars used Bristol Motor Speedway as the basis for the racetrack seen in the film's opening race, the "Motor Speedway of the South."

It's Bristol. And it's quite obvious too.

Ok ok. It's Bristol. I will admit I was wrong. I still would like to see an NR2003 version 0f the track.

Wouldn't be too hard to do though 22 cars would be the absolute max that you could have. Unless you made it a 3/4 mile then you would have to remove/relocate most of the 3dos and create all new lp files. It does seem a little bit larger in the movie too. Maybe like 6/10ths of a mile?
