For over 8 years I ran Blaquehardts Paint Shoppe and did countless projects for not only
myself but for others as well. Never during that time did I ask for anything in return,
but now after my heart attack and not being able to work I find I'm now a "Prisoner in
my own home".
In the past I always did for others to repay for being such a problem kid and a troublemaker
growing up. From there it went to being the right thing to do and "pay it forward".
Now I find myself in the worse possible position-asking for "donations" just to be able to
go to the doctor, go get groceries, pick up prescriptions or just get the wife and me out
of the house once in a "blue moon".
One time did a friend donate $50 to me to help keep my Internet on and continue working
in the Paint Shoppe. I never forgot this and when/if my disability finally is settled, I
plan to repay it with a donation to Masgrafx in his name.
I have a chance to purchase a 1992 Saturn 4 door in great condition (58K on the motor)
for $1500. Unfortunatly my friend can't take payments because of a $1000 bill he needs to
take care of and I have nowhere near that kind of money and nowhere to get it.
So, in spite of my pride and embarrasment I am asking for doantions from those I have done
work for in the past and those kind enough to be able to help my cause.
I'm not trying to intrude or say something that is not true just to get you all to feel sorry
for me, this is a real plea for some help in anyway you can. Although I can't say when,
but when I get my disability there are a lot of sites I have used in the past and I want to
make donations to them for all their help and support during the time Blaquehardts Paint Shoppe
was in operation...
