PS2 screenshot question

Searching the internet has given me no luck here. I want to somehow take screenshots of my PS2 games and get them on my PC. Is this even possible? Any way I could do it whether it be a transfer USB cable or directly hook it up through my PC? I have a TV tuner, haven't used it for a while now and I think it has an S-Video input. Could I possibly use that?

Any help is appreciated. I've always wanted to do this and any way I could would be great.

If your TV Tuner still works well, record a video of the screenshot and put the recording through a video-to-gif converter. After you do that, open the result in a photo-editing program, go to the layer containing the exact frame that you want, cut that out and save that layer as a new file.
