PWF Nationwide template question

I have Paint Shop Pro 7 and downloaded a PWF nationwide template from the template section. I couldn't open the file and got an error 565 message. Is the template for a paint program other then PSP7? If so does any one know where a PWF Nationwide template is that can be opened with PSP7? Also, if anyone knows a trick to solve the error 565 in PSP7 please let me know. Thanks for any help.

The templates are in PSD format which is for PhotoShop. I don't remember which one but either of the two programs has a plugin that can open the others native image format. So google for a PSD plugin for PSP and see what that gets you.

Or get GIMP. You can open it up in GIMP and you will have to delete/merge some of the layers to open it in PSP. PSP7's limit of layers is 100 (I use PSP7)

Will Gimp open most of the template formats ?

I'm not familiar with Gimp but I can tell you that a .psd file is photoshop.

I have always used PSP7 until I was unable to open psd files. Finally bought a copy of PSP11 on Ebay for $23. It was time to move up and on.
