Hey all
I switched over to a new laptop with Vista before the spring race at Dover in my online season and I had no problems. Then I went to Pocono and I had serious skew issues. I pulled up CTRL + C and the Latency and Quality are fine, but the kew meter slow-to-semi-quickly goes from neutral to one extreme and then the cars disappear for a few seconds and then reappear way ahead of me. It only happens a couple times in practice, always in qualifying, but never in the race. It doesn't really bother me except the fact that when this happens, my qualifying times don't count.
I usually just have this problem at larger tracks like Pocono, Indianapolis, Watkins Glen, etc. and I know sometimes only in a certain turn.
Does anyone have this problem or a solution to it?
Another problem I've begun to have recently is also qualifying related. It first happened at the fall Michigan race, I was running a pole winning lap on my 2nd lap, and then coming to the checkers, I got black flagged and neither lap counted. This particular time it happened to our host too, but we did it again and it's always happened to me ever since, but never him. Sometimes it's coming to the green, sometimes to the white, sometimes to the checkers, but never consistently.
Again, this doesn't really bother me that much except it's screwing me out of poles, track position, laps led, and pit stall assignments. And to some extent, tire wear.
Any solutions or tips would be very much appreciated.
