Question on the dark scene

Is there a way to change the rollcage color from green to black. I import my paint onto the model and when I render it still has the green rollcage which really stands out. Any help is greatly appreciated

What do you mean by "dark scene"?

The SRD NWS13 2 car scene that has a dark colored floor. And yes it really has green rollcages.

That's the scene I'm asking about. The file is named dark scene.

First thing to try....drag the car paint onto the rollcage area shown, just see if it changes color.

Thanks Rogue. That worked. Do you know how to make it render faster? I have gotten only 1/4 of a complete render and that took 45 minutes. I can only imagine how long it would take for the rest to render

Ok I have checked the scene. It seems the paints were not applied to the roll cages on all cars.
I have updated that...now where do I put up a link to the updated max file?

That can be in the sample settings, try something like this, see if it is quicker.

How about something like this?.....renders on my old machine in around 1 minute 30
Still uses Max 2010.
