I probably already know the answer but wanted to ask anyways. Is there a way to edit in game files on ps2 games? I want to edit a car with my own paint scheme without using the default bases and numbers that come with the create a car on NASCAR Thunder 2004. I know its probably impossible, but hey, it doesn't hurt to ask.

Not too sure if they sell the kits anymore, but essentially (if my brain serves me correct) you'd have to solder a chip onto your motherboard of your system, similar to modding an Xbox 360. Really not worth if you ask me... back in the day mod chips were mostly used for game piracy as it was before the PS3 which introduced online play and checked for mod chips.
