Quick Question

After installing my copy of Nr2003 after years on not playing it, i noticed something. im running 40 fps on newer hardware, also its only using 14% of my GPU.... i would understand this if Vsync was on at 60 FPS, the game is not laggy, BUT, ony reaches 40 fps then dies out to 35 or so. Im running on a EVGA 650 TI 2gb Boost Super Clocked card, 8 Gb's of Corsair Vengeance Ram at 1800 Mhz my CPU is a intel i5 2320, the processor is only running 30% while in game play.

The usage % from both GPU are while im playing with a tracker on my 2nd screen. is there a way to make the game use my GPU's full potential, or will it just be stuck doing this

P.S. i run Iracing full settings at 160+ FPS without vsync on (always run vsync though)

Check out the tweaks in the red stickies at the top of the page. Bear in mind that NR2003 will only utilize a single core on your processor, and not all the memory on your GPU. That's why you have to tweak it to get the best performance.

yes, i know it only uses 1 cpu core, only 30% of 1 cpu core. and only 14% of my gpu, utilizing only 256 MB of video memory lol. my OLD gpu was utilized to 100% running 100+ fps, the processor never changed. I have no reason to tweak the game any more, its on max settings along with my GPU Control panel 32x AA with 8x super sample etc etc. the game looks pretty good completely maxed out, but, the game will not utilize my machine in any way it seems. even after changing the control panel settings for extra AA and Super sample, the gpu usage only changed by about 5% to 20% max, and a small bit of extra memory usage.

Your system is better than mine, but I am getting better performance. If you don't want to tweak it to get better FPS, I guess that's up to you.
