2018 SimRacing Design Pick' Em Championship Playoffs Grid (Championship Four):
Welcome to the season finale race weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Nine months and thirty-five races after the season started with the 2018 Daytona 500, we have made our third trip back down to the Sunshine State for the final NASCAR race weekend of the season. Sixty-six members have competed this season, and after twenty-six regular season races and nine races in the Championship Playoffs, we have come down to the four members who will battle it out for the rights to be crowned as the 2018 SimRacing Design Pick' Em Series Champion.
Here are the Championship Four members who after thirty-five race weekends, have earned their right to duke it out between themselves to become our newest champion:
John Gregorio (2007 Pick' Em Series Champion)
@John Gregorio is a grizzled veteran of the Pick' Em Series, having been around since the inaugural Pick' Em Series season way back in 2007. In fact, it was John Gregorio himself (back then under the name jgregorio72) that was our first-ever Pick' Em Series Champion, taking home the title over @scottw73 by just under 200 points.
In those eleven years, he has amassed ten Pick' Em Series wins to go with his 2007 Pick' Em Series Championship. John Gregorio qualified for the 2018 SimRacing Design Championship Playoffs by getting a win in the 2018 O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 at Texas Motor Speedway Pick' Em event.
With two career Pick' Em Series wins under his belt, @Saan Anguish is still hunting for that elusive first SimRacing Design Pick' Em Series Championship. Saan Anguish qualified for the 2018 SimRacing Design Championship Playoffs with his win in the 2018 Overton's 400 at Chicagoland Speedway Pick' Em event.
Fishtail (2014 SRD Pick' Em Series Champion)
Sometimes, consistency over the long haul can be a good thing in a series where wins get you an guaranteed spot in the Championship Playoffs. The only member in our Championship Four that didn't score a win in the 2018 season, @Fishtail has overcome the odds of getting knocked out by members with wins and has found himself in the final round with a chance to take home the title. Fishtail qualified for the 2018 SimRacing Design Championship Playoffs by pointing his way into the field with his consistency.
Four years ago, Fishtail clinched the 2014 SimRacing Design Pick' Em Championship by winning the 2014 Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway Pick' Em event, beating @ThatOneShredder by several points. Can he possibly do it again?
With four wins in the 2018 season, @Ryan597 entered the Playoffs with the most Playoff Points and Bonus Points. Looking for his first-ever SimRacing Design Pick' Em Series Championship to add to his nine career Pick' Em Series wins, Ryan597 hopes to put together another solid round at Homestead-Miami, one that might propel him to his first championship.
Ryan597 qualified for the 2018 SimRacing Design Championship Playoffs with his wins in the Atlanta, Las Vegas I, Martinsville I, and Watkins Glen Pick' Em events.

For those who didn't participate at ISM Raceway, it's not too late to join in on the Pick' Em Series for 2018! You may not be eligible for the championship any more due to the 18-race minimum requirement in order to win the championship, but you can still compete for bragging rights and to see if you can play the spoiler against potential championship favorites!
Just be sure to submit your picks before each race and see how your picks stack up against the competition! It does not matter if you have been a SRD member for years or if you are brand new to this wonderful community! It's free to compete in and you might just find yourself taking home your first-career Pick' Em victory in your first season of competition like our Daytona 500 champion Bradfan4ever, Bowman The Showman did at Bristol, or what HJimenez42 at ISM Raceway II!
