Feempy, since revamped/reloaded site is down, my question to you is; At Bristol Night Revamped 2008, I always get black flagged for merging to soon coming off pitroad, but i do not merge until the backstraight. I even changed the apron area near pit road to apron near pits and that still did not help. Is there anything that i can change in either sandbox, or the track.ini to fix this? Thanks!

Then you know more than I do lol...:p
I hope you are right, but looks more troublesome than we've experienced before as last time it only took a couple of weeks. Our host is still down as well, so I really have no idea when we'll be back..

Like I said before we do have a backup plan, which is moving to another host, but that would mean another site url as well. Therefore I really don't hope we have to go there..:S

As for the Bristol track in the pitstall section (or both pitstall sections) there is a merge line with a number behind, which you can find in Sandbox. I would check that first if I were you.

change the lane_merge_dlong value in the track ini file, say if it's 200, make it 50, that should sort it.
iirc Texas has a similar issue.

I'm confused. You own your domain name, right? I know that if I want to change hosts/servers (say from my current one to GoDaddy) all I need do is sign up and transfer over. Yes, you would have to re-upload all of your files to the new server, but it's better than being down for weeks on end.

If you own your domain name, which I am sure you do. Just log into your domain account where ever that may be? Godaddy, namecheap? Anyway, log in and change the nameservers to your new host and that's it, your done.

No need to lose your domain name or get another one.

it's not quiet that simple, I had to transfer a .com domain to new provider last year and I had to firstly get the domain unlocked, find a new host (which we already had) then go through the domain transfer process which is a pain in the arse if the email you used to register the domain is different to the one you use now LOL.

It wasn't that bad overall, just not quiet as simple as click here, especially if they got the domain as a freebie with the hosting (in which case probably the host owns it).

Ahh,I see.

I just use namecheap to store all my domain names. That way I am in control of all of them. No need to do all that transferring crap anymore.

But they should own that domain name. I am sure they paid for it with this mysterious host they are with.

But yeah, you're right. Transferring it can be an ordeal. I'm used to it, I bought and sold a bunch of domain names.

If you guys need help, give me a holler.

Well I must confess I don't know a whole lot about webhosting, but I pay to HS4U for my domainname, which rents/buys from wildwestdomains.com.
The only place I know I can login is at HS4U (into my cpanel), but they are down as well, so as I see it I can't access my account..:S

So yeah Matt I probably could use some help..;)

Luckily that's not our host. It's hosting-solutions-4u.com

Well that's good! lol

Although, not sure how much better since your site is still down :(

Also, since everyone is recommending places, I 'll throw a couple out to ya too.

Web Hosting by A Small Orange | Business, VPS, Shared, Dedicated Host I have used them for a couple of years with various small sites and clients. Great customer service and I have had zero downtime. They don't oversell like a lot of web hosting companies do. Meaning, they will pack as many sites as they can on one of their servers. Overselling the actual bandwidth and storage that they have. A Small Orange doesn't do that.

And of course who I use for this site. WiredTree - Managed Dedicated Servers | Managed VPS Hosting | Fully Managed Web Hosting I don't think you need a managed server unless your getting an extreme amount of traffic? But if you want zero downtime, and the best customer service for as little as $50 a month, this is the place. I would recommend these guys to anyone for anything.
