I think the changes that are to be included in the update should address most of the complaints that many people have had about this mod, especially the wheels and tires, which I agree could look a little more realistic.

Also, with the update, the mod will be available in both hi-res and lo-res versions.

Thats true. I didn't even pay attention to see if all the cars were low-res or just a few in that pack.

Man...personally I'm tired of all this stufff. No one releases an open beta anymore it's all closed up so when there's an issue, you don't hear about it till it's released. Now they have to remodel the back of the car which means all the work that the 3ds guys have done is going to be wasted. Heck I just finished putting together 10 or 11 scenes for my site and now they'll be worthless. Probably have to start from scratch when the 1.1 junk comes out.

I can def. see your frustration! Wow. That would suck big time!

You are not happy because you will have to remake just ± 10 scenes, you can just merge the new models, you have 2 choices, delete this mod .... or re-work !!! my opinion; probably, you don't like this mod ...lol...

I don't recall tenor asking for your opinion if you thought he liked your mod or not.

I made a public announcment that I am sure you read. If you didn't please do.

Your opinion, while I support people having them seems more like a statement that will do nothing but start an argument.

Agreed. Tenor could have not complained in public about reworking the scenes.

Thanks for all the work guys, you worked really hard for the sim community to enjoy a new selection of mod and physics. I'm definitely downloading the Lo-Res version, that will improve the fps enough so I can run it.

But...

I think you guys could work a bit more on the front end damage. No matter how hard the hit, the hood won't pop off the car unless something tears it off the car, mostly because of the tether system that was introduced last year.

The tether system has been in NASCAR for longer than that. It may have improved upon last year. They were using tethers when the cup series was still in the COY cars. But, in reference to the mod, I like it.

Now I'm going to come about here. We were provided with actual cot specs meaning the actual shapes of a side view of the cot. That is the reason for the rebuild of course with alot of feedback from you guys. IF we would had been offered these dimensions the mod would have come that way.

To Tenor: Yes your work you'll have to scrap.

People painting now will have to make slight adjustments but it will be up to the individual as to if they want to take the time and effort or not. Personally I dont care if any of you download it or not. Thats all you guys and gals choice. Will it be the most accurate to date cot ingame? Absolutely. I do wish we had the actual specs 9 months ago but we didnt. They were only offered after the fact so thats why you are getting an remodeled update. Like it or not run it or not or sit back and whine and moan which is what its all come to anymore. There Mr. Matt I hope I didnt violate your post. I did read it sir!
