I am looking for the best version of The Glen and Infineon. The versions I currently race have bugs. At The Glen cars bit the guardrail coming out if the pits. 30 out of 43 cars DNF. At Infineon, it will run 20 laps of caution before going green. It keeps calling off the restart.

Any suggestions on where to get better versions?

If I recall correctly the Infineon problem has to do with the Pace Car being passed before the Start/Finish line. I think the solution was to increase the pit speed (probably in the track.ini).

Wait right here...

OK. I've got a couple of Infineons and one has the pace_speed_limit_mph @ 35 and the other (Revamped Reloaded) is @ 45. There must be a reason for the difference and I'm thinking it's probably to fix just the problem you're experiencing. I know 1st hand that you can drive around the real Sears Point (Infineon) w-a-a-a-y faster than 35-45 so the Pace Car in a sim should be able to as well.

Maybe give bumping the pace_speed_limit_mph a bit? You've really got nothing to loose. Remember to back up your current track.ini just in case something really bad happens.

Interesting, didn't think of that. Thanks for the heads up!

WG 10 is very nice as well.

plus the game assumes that the cars that have slowed right down in the hairpin have stopped, so calls off the start, like bob said upping pace speed should fix it
