No big surprise. They never had success together and didn't seem to be a good marriage. Hope he gets a good ride next year.

RPM may go under. Losing Kahne, Bud, Sadler and Allmindinger doesn't seem happy.

This means bye bye Elliott as far as Cup goes. He'll either go to the Nationwide Series or Truck Series, or he'll drive for a start-and-park operation. Both he and Mayfield were the victims of Evernham's love affair with Erin Crocker. Then the team got sold umpteen times, always causing for dismay amongst the whole organization.

I always liked ESad. Hopefully he can find something. There aren't too many up and comers who are Cup ready, now, due to the surplus of Cup guys in development series...

RPM has a few seats to fill, so it should be interesting to see how they go about doing that. Roush young guns? Old cup Vets like BLab?

And where does ESad fit? He's very sponsor friendly...maybe back to a Yatesesque team with Front Row, or to TRG?

The worst case scenario for RPM is that Paul Menard leaves and takes sponsorship with him, leaving Allmendinger, who himself is out of contract at the end of the season. If he decides to move on, that could spell the end for RPM

As for Sadler, I agree with Mike. He'll go to a team currently closer to the Top 35 cutoff. TRG is a good shout, how about that new America's Racing Team outfit (should it get off the ground)?

No surprise. He should have been out when Petty attempted to let him go. There was a reason he wanted A.J. in the 19 last year...

I've been thinking maybe for next year that Bobby Labonte drove the #19, just as a fill-in for a team that needs a vet while they prepare a rookie in the NWS.

Sadler will prolly end up at Latitude 43 with the Air Guard as part time sponsor along with other brands. Labonte and prolly Mears or Sorenson will be over at RPM along with Menard and 'Dinger.

Just my guesses anyways.

I think Sadler ought to go full time truck racing, maybe if KHI would put him in a full time ride or something. I'm just thinking this because I honestly don't think he's going anywhere but down in the Cup series, mainly because there won't be any vacant seats at the end of the season with any of the bigger teams. So yeah, he could end up at TBR, TRG, or just bounce around from team to team being used as needed. Kind of a bummer.

you think sorenson would go back?

In these hard economic times, a full time ride is a full time ride. I'm sure if RPM could have canned Sadler when they wanted to Reed would still be in the 43 this year.
