I'm hoping this will lead to an official announcement about Bubba Wallace moving to the Xfinity series. I know it's been hinted at and talked about but they've yet to make that official.

I don't think JGR is that extreme about it. And the #1 is for One (1) Main Financial I would think...

Gordon drove the #1 Ford in 1991-1992 for Bill Davis

Mike Stefanik drove the #1 Ford Part Time in 1994 for Rodney Rexrode in the First 2 Races of the year, He also drove a Chevy #1 for a race
Hermie Sadler drove the #1 Chevy from 1995-1997 for Gary Bechtel
Sterling Marlin drove the #1 Chevy Part Time in 1998 in a car he owned

Sadler may be a good fit at Roush, they need some experience over there after losing Matt and Carl. Greg cant mentor all those kids himself.

Doesn't really matter if he can mentor them or not, their program outside Carl Edwards' team is awful, at least if you compare them to the teams people compare them to (Hendrick, Penske, Gibbs, I can't put Childress up there either even though Newman might win the title because they haven't even come close to winning a race and only have 2 poles)
