been working on a modeled smoke blowup scene for the sce nws mod comments welcome
also this...a wip.. im just showing a genaral draft render to give u an idea of what it looks like

just gonna say this but how many times when an engine blows do you see sparks... the oil trail i think is what your gettin at under the car is perfect but i have seen my fair share of cars blow a rod through the pan and have never seen sparks but the rest is really good... and yeah square smoke???

the reason u see the sparks is becuase the orignal pic i think the car was on fire to. and thats hard to model n max im not to that level yet. and the square smoke thats a wip. thats how the mesh is when u use a superspray polly. it works great in brazil but its abit tricky to get everything to work with mental ray.

yeah Toughie for some reason the MR dont work right with the modeled smoke mesh. but brazil renders it Quite nicely.

Yeah that's what I'm using. I can get the standard mat. To work great with Brazil.
But a&d mat & standard mat wont render right with mental ray..I'm shure its all in my render setting just haven't had time to mess with it .
