i know there was a way to import the current points system into Score4 had it on my old computer but it died... but i dont remember how or where to get the points text to put in there... can anyone help me out here?

ok.. i cant for the life of me remember how to put that into score4.. where do i put that .txt file?

Put the points.txt file where you installed 4Score (C-Program Files (x86)-Score4 or C-Program Files-Score4). Then, open Score4, and when you make your new division, select Points System-Other, and type points.txt in the Points File line.

thats what i thought...and thats where i saved the .txt file... but when i open score4 and create a new division...i doesnt give me an "other" option for me to choose...

The drop down menu? It says "NASCAR Classic" by default I believe.

While I'm thinking about it, do you have the full version of Score4?

Yea when i do the drop down menu, my options are "Nascar Classic, Nascar 2004, Nascar 2007, IROC, Trans Am.... doesnt give me an other option like it used to. And idk if its the newest version...but ive got Score4 2.4.1

thats the one i d/l'd..when i try to save the points file... it says "access denied" or some wierd thing like that...i dont get it

Try running the program as admin.

ive tried but does me no good to do that if i cant save the points file where it needs to be saved in the first place

Right click the folder where Score4 is installed, and under Attributes, what is selected? Read only, hidden, etc.?

That seems like it's your problem. Click the box so that it isn't highlighted.

still says i cant save it..."have to contact administrator"?? i dont get why it wont let me save this

Do you have an administrator account?

You are going to need an administrator account or access to one to change permissions in the program files directory.

Maybe someone can help you more. That's about all I've got, I'm running on a Mac ATM. Sorry bud.
