42: "We're fucked. Nothing can't go our fucking way."
*Harris continues to rant on the radio, with a bunch of expletives filling in every few words.*

62JC: "HEY! Who put the DeviantArt decals back on the car? I thought our deal ended with them?"
62SP: "It appears they're using the wrong flat for our car, perhaps have been this entire season and we only just now noticed...."
62JC: "One more 4th-wall-break, and I'm sending you to the shadow realm!"
62CC: "You mean the purple realm?"
    62JC: "SILENCE!"

Lap 13: Things settling down up front now after everyone took evasive action to avoid the 7 of Merzlak and 42 of Harris. Both drivers remain inside the top 10 running 9th and 10th respectively. Further back we have another crash off turn 2. This time Jesse Dalton very nearly hits the wall off the corner and checks up. Dan Busch unable to slow up in time clips the 77 in the left rear and sends the Regal Cinemas Camry spinning into the inside wall. Dalton receives heavy rear end damage but manages to keep it rolling and we stay green.

Lap 17: Tires starting to give up a little and drivers are starting to search for grip. Hooper moves up a couple grooves and is able to work around the outside of Llamas to take over 2nd. Mallon only a half second ahead. Wichelman is still running 4th with Coleman 5th. Behind them just over 2 seconds behind the leader, Webster uses the same line to work around Ingram for 6th. Ingram now has the 88 of Caudill filling his mirrors. Merzlak and Harris still running 9th and 10th and seem to be able to keep relative pace to the cars around them despite the damage.

Lap 18: Llamas tries moving up in turns 1 and 2 after Hooper went by him on the outside but it backfires for the 48 as Wichelman dives low and takes 3rd away from Llamas. Hooper closing in on Mallon for the lead.

Lap 20: New leader at the line is John Hooper, Sr. He uses the bottom off turn 4 to pull alongside Mallon at the line and has a nose ahead to lead. Mallon fights back though on the top of 1 and 2 and clears the 11 down the back with the momentum. Behind them Llamas drops another spot to Coleman as he continues to struggle to work the outside line. Also falling back another spot is Ingram as Caudill uses the outside to get around him.

Lap 21: Hooper again good off the bottom of turn 4 and pulls alongside of the 93 for the lead as they race down the frontstretch into turn 1. Mallon again swings out wide near the wall and has the edge off turn 2 and down the back. Both drivers go to the bottom in 3 and 4 but Mallon can't seem to keep the car down on exit and here comes Hooper again challenging for the lead off turn 4.

Lap 22: We repeat the same story again in turns 1 and 2 as Mallon fends off Hooper once more. Wichelman in 3rd not able to make any ground as the top 2 battle not only for the lead but for the top spot in the championship. At the back of the top 10 Merzlak and Harris now battle side by side. Merzlak moves his wounded car to the outside and holds on to 9th for the moment.

Lap 25: Mallon has now pulled out to a 3 tenths lead over the 11. Wichelman still running 3rd 1 second behind. Coleman 4th 2 seconds back with Llamas in 5th, 2.5 seconds back. Caudill now up to 6th bringing Ingram with him back to 7th as both drivers work around the 95 of Webster. Merzlak and Harris still 9th and 10th, 4 seconds off the lead. At the back Will Anderson pulls off the track billowing smoke and ends his season early on lap 25.

Lap 27: Hooper again with a good run off the bottom of turn 4 and pulls even with Mallon at the line. Give it to the 11 this time as they race into turn 1.

Lap 28: Hooper able to stay even with Mallon in turns 1 and 2 this time but again Mallon too strong in that outside line and able to power away in turns 3 and 4. Both drivers slowly pulling away from the rest of the field. Ingram up to 6th getting back around Caudill for that spot. Harris falls out of the top 10 after giving up a spot to Jordan in the 28. Harris now has Spencer, English, and Gegner looking to make a move on the 42.

Lap 34: Hooper has taken a couple more shots at the lead but still unable to complete the pass on the 93. The rookie keeping composed so far against the veteran. 3 seconds behind them Ingram has cracked the top 5 after running down and passing Llamas. Caudill has also made it by the 48 to take 6th. The defending race winner fading back after starting on the front row. Merzlak has dropped to 10th as Jordan picks up another spot.

Lap 39: Still no changes out front. At the back of the top 10 Harris and Merzlak swap spots, the 42 back inside the top 10 with the 7 just on the outside looking in. Hawkins runs 12th, Spencer 13th, Gegner 14th, Farrell 15th, Busch 16th, English 17th, Smetana 18th, Woodard 19th, and Curtain 20th.

Lap 40: Mallon bobbles off turn 4 and here comes Hooper to the inside into turn 1. He has the 93 cleared but here comes Mallon off the top, he gets to the right rear but that's it as they race into turn 3. Hooper sends it into the corner and clears Mallon by 2 car lengths. Hooper to the lead and to the top of the championship table in his final race.

Lap 41: Ingram has moved to the very outside of the track and is on a charge. He has closed 8 tenths on the leaders in just a few laps and has no blown by Coleman for 4th. The 2 car may have a very strong long run car as we continue to race under green since the start. Merzlak and Harris are now both outside the top 10 as Hawkins passes both drivers moving them down to 11th and 12th. As we close in on pit stops, both those teams will need to make some adjustments to their cars if they want to keep up with the 11, 93, and 2.

Lap 47: Hooper has stretched it out over Mallon, up to a 1.1 second lead. Ingram has now faded once again after a couple close calls with the outside wall. Ingram giving up 4th back to Coleman and now runs 3 seconds behind Hooper.

Lap 49: Merzlak to pit road. A bit early for a stop but the damage to that machine certainly not helping. The team changes 4 tires and fuel and makes some repairs to the car before they send him away. Merzlak will go down 2 laps as a result.

Lap 57: The field very spread out after 57 laps of green flag racing. Hooper lead by 9 tenths over Mallon as Merzlak charges past both drivers to get back 1 of his 2 laps. Wichelman still 3rd 1.5 seconds off the lead. Coleman 4th 3.5 back, Ingram 5th 3.7 behind. Caudill 6th running 4.8 seconds off the lead. Llamas 7th and 5.7 seconds back. Hawkins up to 8th and just behind Llamas running 5.8 seconds off the leader. Jordan holds down 9th, 6.4 seconds behind and Webster rounds out the top 10, 7.2 seconds back.

Lap 58: Couple cars at the back of the field come to pit road as we expect green flag stops just before we reach halfway and the end of the stage. We'll see if anyone plays a little strategy to try and get an advantage just before the stage caution.

Lap 59: Here they come. A bunch of drivers come in as Hooper leads them onto pit road. Mallon stays out to take over the top spot as pit road becomes a very busy place.

Lap 60: The remaining drivers come to pit road as we complete green flag stops with 7 laps to go before the stage caution. Hooper the first driver on track after the cycle and will resume the race lead.

Lap 61: Hooper does cycle into the lead over Wichelman now in 2nd with Mallon back to 3rd. Ingram runs 4th with Coleman 5th. Caudill 6th with Merzlak now 7th after pitting several laps ahead of everyone else. Busch in P8 with Llamas now down to 9th and Hawkins in 10th. Hooper has caught a bit of traffic as he puts the 17 of DeCosta a lap down.

Lap 72: Green flag and we begin the final half of the race for the championship. Hooper clears the traffic on the restart into turn 1. Wichelman works high to low to clear the lapped cars as well in turns 3 and 4. Ingram next in line to try and get around the slower cars.

Lap 73: Ingram and Mallon now also clear of the traffic in 3rd and 4th. At the back we have another crash off turn 2. Peters gets caught up in a chain reaction after Connor Root got a bit too wide off turn 2 and tagged the wall. Nixon gets into the rear of Root and moves down to try and avoid spinning the 1. Nixon unfortunately moves down and clips the right front of Peters and sends the 00 down into the inside wall. Peters with heavy damage limps back to pit road and his race is over. We stay green.

Lap 78: Merzlak has really struggled on the restart. The extra lap on his tires is really showing as the 7 has fallen to 19th. At the front watch out! Llamas grenades the engine in the middle of the track and in front of the field. He comes down track and clips the 88 of Caudill on his way to the apron. Now we have even more trouble off turn 2 as several cars go spinning down the track and into the inside wall. Caution is out as we have a bunch of cars wrecked on the inside of the backstretch.

It appears the expiring engine on the 48 started the ordeal in turn 2. After Llamas moved down the track Merzlak came through and clipped the oil coming from the 48 causing him to slip off the exit of turn 2 and catch the wall. The 7 bounces off and comes down into Sean English and Joey Isaacs. All 3 drivers spin and make contact with the inside wall. Behind them Tim Johnston and Shane Lennox suffer a similar fate. Johnston the only driver to get away with minimal damage. Unfortunately for the 7 team their race and battle for the championship comes to an end after the crash.

Lap 82: Getting ready for the restart and we have a shake up at the front of the field after pit stops. A slow stop for the 11 team drops them from 1st to 5th, and worst of all behind two of the other championship competitors. Mallon in 2nd now leads the 4 remaining championship drivers as Wichelman takes over the lead on pit road.
