Lap 83: Green flag back out and we are underway once again. Wichelman not the greatest of restarts and can't clear the traffic into turn 1. New tires for everyone on track and the inside line will prevail allowing Bleskachek and Blanford to work by the leader and be back on the lead lap for the moment. Mallon in 2nd now taking a peak to the inside for the lead in turns 3 and 4.

Lap 84: Mallon stuck behind Blanford on the inside but he pulls even with Wichelman for the lead off turn 2. Here comes Ingram as well right to the rear bumper of the 93. Into turn 3 and Bleskachek slides up in front of the 10 car. Wichelman cuts to the middle as Mallon clears and Ingram races by for 2nd as well.

Lap 86: Mallon clears traffic and brings Ingram with him into clean air as well. Hawkins is now 3rd and working on clearing traffic with the 9 of Busch behind in 4th. Hooper still 5th and fighting with lapped car of Blesckachek. Wichelman still stuck in the outside line and in danger of losing 6th to Jordan as they race 3 wide with the lapped car of DeCosta in the middle.

Lap 88: Ingram wasting no time going after the lead and the lead in the championship. He works to the inside of Mallon in turns 1 and 2 and clears for the top spot. Ingram out front for the first time this race. Top 6 cars have cleared the lapped traffic, Wichelman in 7th still stuck behind the 22 and 60.

Lap 91: Mallon not letting Ingram get away as the 93 is all over the rear bumper of the Miller Lite #2. Hawkins throwing his name in as he races right on the back bumper of Mallon. The 43 not afraid to spoil the championship battle out front.

Lap 93: Hooper still in 5th after giving up the lead but is already 1.4 seconds behind the top 2. Harris is up to 7th with a high wide and handsome move in turns 1 and 2, getting around Wichelman who is still stuck behind Blanford and Bleskachek. Wichelman also drops a spot to Caudill and now has Gegner coming up to his outside into turn 3 as they battle for 9th. Give the spot to Gegner off turn 4. Wichelman has to be frustrated going from the lead to 10th after the restart.

Lap 98: Here comes Mallon down the frontstech and into turn 1. The 93 with a good run off the bottom of turn 4 and now challenges for the lead in turns 1 and 2. Ingram works the upper line and keeps even with Mallon off the corner. Into turns 3 and 4 and Mallon powers ahead on the bottom and retakes the top spot from Ingram.

Lap 99: Hooper to 4th getting around Busch for that spot. 35 laps to go, the 11 is not out of this yet. Harris is 7th and 2.8 seconds back but is closing in on the 6th place runner of Jordan. A caution and Harris could be right there in the mix for the win and championship as well.

Lap 101: Ingram now battles back to the inside of Mallon into turn 1 to try and retake the top spot. Mallon was strong on the outside early in the race fending off the 11 of Hooper and once again the 93 too good on the outside and he will hold on to the lead. The rookie holding off a veteran right now as Ingram is in his 3rd straight year of trying to win the championship.

Lap 102: Ingram tries again, this time in turns 3 and 4 and he's got it off turn 4 as the caution is out! We had a couple cars crash down the frontstretch and Ingram will be the leader at the yellow. That could be huge in this battle for the win and championship.

The caution comes out after Johnston and Missimer have a bit of a run in off turn 4. Johnston looks to have misjudged the gap between himself and Missimer as he moved up to tuck in behind the 68. He clips the left rear of Missimer and both drivers get turned into the inside wall on the frontstretch and both receive significant damage to their cars.

Lap 106: Green flag back out in Miami as Ingram gets us back up to speed. Ingram and Mallon power around the outside of turns 1 and 2 and clear the lapped cars down the backstretch. Into turn 3 and both drivers go up the track, Mallon right to the left rear and may have given Ingram a nudge in the middle of the corner. Mallon moves to the inside off turn 4 and they nearly bang doors down the frontstretch! Mallon to the lead on the restart, wow what a battle getting back up to speed.

Lap 109: Ingram staying right withing reach of the back of the 93 as they continue to pace the field. A great battle going on behind the for 3rd as they are 3 wide in turns 1 and 2. Hawkins up against the wall, Busch in the middle, and Hooper on the bottom trying to gain ground on his championship rivals. Hawkins clears off the corner and Busch slots into 4th as Hooper gets bottled up behind the lapped car of Blanford on the inside.

Lap 110: Ingram challenging for the lead into turn 1. He moves to the inside but Mallon keeps his composure on the outside and powers back around Ingram off turn 2. The rest of the field still putting on a great show as they battle for position.

60 spotter: Wrecking on the front stretch caution's out. Looks like the 47 was in it again.
60 RB: God we can NOT catch a break today. Sorry guys I'm giving it all I've got, but still trying to bring it home in one piece.
60 cc: 10-4 man we appreciate it.

Lap 112: Top 2 putting a little distance between themselves and the rest of the field. Hooper still holding on in 5th but needs to get a move on if he wants to end his cup career on top. Already 2 seconds behind the leaders he needs to find some magic in the Budweiser machine. Harris has fallen outside the top 10 on the restart, down to 11th. Harris going to need another caution most likely if he is to have any shot at winning the championship.

Lap 113: Hooper going the wrong direction as he gives up 2 tenths to the leaders and a position to Gegner. Hooper in 6th, looks like he may not have enough to challenge Ingram or Mallon.

Lap 114: Here comes Ingram after Mallon and the lead. Into turns 3 and 4 and he drives right up to the rear bumper of the 93, perhaps maybe a little payback after the restart. Mallon bobbles slightly and Ingram will sneak by back into the lead as we come down to see 20 laps to go.

Lap 115: Mallon challenges Ingram right back in turns 3 and 4. He moves to the outside and drivers right around Ingram. A power move from the 93 as we take another look from his visor cam.

Lap 121: The battle for the championship might get spoiled here as the rest of the top 5 closes in on Mallon and Ingram. Busch running 3rd now after getting around Hawkins is just a couple car lengths back of the lead. Hooper has also recovered here after getting some green flag laps in. The back into 5th and has closed in to 1.4 seconds of the 93. Harris meanwhile is still stuck just outside the top 10 in 11th, battling hard with a group of drivers.

Lap 122: Ingram searching around for grip as we continue to knock off laps and approach the finish. He moves up the track in turns 1 and 2 and has a run on Mallon into turn 3. He goes high once again and gets to the outside for the lead! Ingram with a power move around the outside as out of nowhere here comes Busch to make it 3 wide for a split second off turn 4. Mallon all of sudden off the pace slightly, has the rookie used up his tires too early racing Ingram hard for the lead?

Lap 125: 10 to go for Ingram, looking for his first championship and first win of the season. Mallon has recovered and holds on to 2nd ahead of Busch in 3rd. Just 2 car lengths seperate the top 2 in the battle for the championship. Hooper is up to 4th now getting around Hawkins but is 1.8 seconds behind Ingram. Hooper will need a miracle or a caution to catch the leaders. Harris is back inside the top 10 in 9th but is 5.5 seconds back of being at the top of the championship.

Lap 127: Ingram opens it up a little bit and pulls out to a 6 tenths lead. Mallon may have used up everything he had too early trying to stay in front of Ingram. Hooper falling back as well now 2.4 seconds behind.

Lap 130: 8 tenths now for Ingram as Mallon throws caution to the wind and winds up the 93 on the top of the track but it may be too little too late for the rookie.

Lap 134: White flag in the air for Darren Ingram! Looks like it's going to be 3rd time lucky for the Miller Lite team. A 1 second advantage over Mallon, who is now under fire from Busch for 2nd on the final lap. Ingram through turns 1 and 2 cleanly as he races down the backstretch.

SRD Network in Victory Lane with race winner and Season 8 SRD Cup Champion Darren Ingram

Marty Snider - "And here is your champion, Darren Ingram climbing out of his car, Darren, what are you feeling right now?"
Ingram - "I just can't believe it man. We've been the most consistent driver all season, really the last few seasons, showing that we had a great group of guys on this #2 team. @db512 runs a great organization here at Xtreme. The guys at the shop are incredible. I was starting to think I was the problem and the reason we couldn't get the job done and get the title."
MS - "How was the battle with Tyler Mallon at the end of the race? What was going through your mind?"
DI - "Shoutout to Mallon there, he raced me clean and we had an awesome back and forth battle there at the end. We've had our run ins across various leagues, but we put it all aside and gave it our all, and thankfully we came out on top. Major props to him for the great racing."
MS - "Now, we know you're a free agent after this season, will you be back at this team next year?"
DI - "(chuckles) Yeah, I figured this question was coming. I plan on being back with this group of bossman will have me back. We've gotta go out and defend our title!"
