Lap 1: Wichelman jumps out to the lead early with a good start but off turn 2 and down the backstretch it's DJ Harris with help from the 88 of Hooper that takes over the lead and will lead the opening lap in Daytona.

Lap 5: Harris still out in front but it's now Anthony Curtain up to 2nd with Brendon Hancock 3rd. Will Anderson is up to 4th after missing out on the duels on Saturday and starting from the rear. Craigo rounds out the top 5.

Lap 9: Top 4 still unchanged but now the other driver that was late to the races, Ryan DeCosta has cracked the top 5. Just behind him it's Merzlak, Webster, Bleskachek, Peterson, and Fiorentini.

Lap 12: DJ Harris continues to lead all of the laps so far but now has Ryan Bleskachek behind him in 2nd. JJ Jordan and Greg Woodard working together as they are up to 3rd and 4th. Rookie Maulana completes the top 5. All 29 drivers still in the lead group as we continue to race 2 and 3 wide.

Lap 17: It took longer than expected but we finally have a lead change as the two JB2 Motorsports drivers of Jason Blanford and Matheus Fiorentini work together to get around the 42 of Harris in turns 1 and 2. They don't stick together though and that will allow Dakota Caudill to take over out front with help from Shane Lennox at the line.

Lap 18: Caudill's lead is short lived as Lennox makes a move down the backstretch to move the Coors Light Camaro to the point.

Lap 21: Lennox continues to lead but now has teammates Jacob Craigo and RJ Bishop tucked up behind him. We'll see if they make a move to put Dodge out in front for the first time this race.

Lap 22: Indeed the Craigo Racing Inc. drivers make their move to the front but it's RJ Bishop that will lead his first career lap. Lennox not giving up though challenges back with help from the 42 of Harris.

Lap 23: Lennox back to the front with the 42 of Harris and the 01 of Anderson. DeCosta 4th with JJ Jordan 5th as the 98 and 62 get shuffled back in the outside lane.

Lap 24: Harris back to the race lead as we are about 10 laps shy of having a round of green flag pit stops. All 29 drivers continue to race in one big pack 2 and 3 wide.

Lap 30: Harris again controlling the race out front keeping everyone in tow behind. Joshua Hawkins has moved up to 2nd and stayed there for the last several laps with Shane Lennox and Ryan Bleskachek in tow.

Lap 32: Hawkins now to the lead with a shove from Lennox in the 18. Green flag stops imminent as the field still continues the 3 wide racing.

Lap 34: Lennox to the lead once again as the first driver to pit road is Brendon Hancock in the 45. Getting on pit road can be treacherous under green flag as everyone tries to shuffle across the track at the exit of turn 4.

Lap 35: Ryan Bleskachek to the lead as the first group of cars comes to pit road led by the 98 of Bishop. The 17, 01, 41, 73, 88, 81, and 95 the other drivers to pit.

Lap 36: Steven Merzlak to the lead for the first time this race as a big group of drivers pit starting with the 18 of Lennox. The 60, 28, 11, 6, 77, 15, 97, 48, 2, 10, 7, 21, and 46 all taking this opportunity to pit.

Lap 37: The last handful of cars come to the pits starting with the race leader Merzlak. He is followed by the 74, 42, 62, 55, and 9. Our first driver to run into trouble is the defending series champion Darren Ingram. The 2 car with an electrical issue is stationary on pit road and will lose several laps as the crew work to restore power to the GoDaddy #2.

Lap 38: A two car breakaway after green flag stops puts the 18 of Lennox in the lead over the 60 of Bleskachek. Behind them it's a 5 car group of Sean English, Jason Blanford, defending Daytona winner Jon Peterson, JJ Jordan, and RJ Bishop.

Lap 45: The white flag is out in stage #1 as Lennox and Bleskachek continue to lead as a two car breakaway. Just 1 second behind them though is now an 11 car pack led by teammates Merzlak and Peterson but it looks like they will come up a couple laps shy of chasing down the 2 drivers out front. Off turn 4 and to the line it will be Shane Lennox winning stage 1 over Ryan Bleskachek.

Lap 46: Trouble on pit road for a couple drivers including the 42 of Harris who has been one of the fastest cars early on in this race. The 55 of Maulana checks up big time after nearly missing his pit stall and causes a stack up that collects the 42 of Harris, the 21 of Zumwalt, and the 10 of Wichelman. The 42, 21, and 10 all receive heavy front end damage to their cars and will likely be unable to keep pace with the field once we get back underway. Maulana with minor rear end damage should be quick enough to stay with the pack. Bleskachek wins the race off pit road and will bring us back to the green flag.

Lap 51: Will Anderson puts the 01 out front after missing all of the weekends racing action up to this race. The rest of the field now back up to speed and already racing 3 wide throughout the field. The 4 drivers involved in that incident on pit road have all already lost the lead draft and will likely lose at least a lap in this run to the end of stage 2 if we do not get a caution before then.

Lap 52: The other driver late to the show now takes over the race lead as the 17 of DeCosta moves his Toyota into clean air. Sean English and JJ Jordan lined up just behind in 2nd and 3rd.

Lap 55: Brendon Hancock now to the race lead with a little help from duel #2 winner Dan Busch. Greg Woodard and JJ Jordan once again working together now find themselves 3rd and 4th.

Lap 58: Tim Kunkel to the race lead for the first time today with RJ Bishop and Ryan Bleskachek running along behind the 15. So far only the 42 of Harris has been able to lead several laps consecutively but with the damage to the 42 that opens the door for the rest of the field to try and keep their cars at the front of the pack.

Lap 61: Kunkel might be that driver that can control the field as he and Tim Johnston have worked together to stay out front with Lennox just behind in 3rd. The field now comes up on the slower car of Zumwalt and will put the 21 a lap down.

Lap 64: Finally Kunkel and Johnston get shuffled out of the lead as the field now tries to work around the slower car of Harris and put him a lap down. Anderson in the 01 retakes the lead with Caudill and Peterson pushing him along.

Lap 72: Anderson also showing great speed out front but now finally gets a challenge for the lead and this time around it will go to the defending Daytona winner Jon Peterson in the 77. Just as the 77 takes the lead the field comes up on the stricken #21 once again and will have to shuffle by.

Lap 73: The jostling around the slower car opens the window for Bobby Farrell to move the 46 car to the front with help from teammate Sean English in 2nd. Ryan DeCosta and John Hooper, Sr. got caught up behind the 21 trying to get by and have lost the touch with the lead group. With 17 more laps in the stage however they shouldn't be in danger of losing a lap should we stay green.
