Tried to search for what BEX meant in relation to NR2003. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated since I want to start league racing again in a couple weeks.

I'm running Windows 7 on an AMD processor and a AMD graphics card btw.

Took me about 30 seconds to find info. Google "BEX error"

Did that, but I already have DEP off for the whole computer.

Unless... do I have to have DEP on and just make an exception for the NR2003.exe?

'bcdedit (dot) exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff' from the command line (make sure to run the cmd as admin). Completely disables DEP altogether. It's usually best to just completely disable it if you have adequate anti-virus/malware and don't visit shady sites. I've never gotten the game to work with making an exception for it, or using the GUI to disable it.

Usually those error reports are just meant for programmers that know what to look for. Not really meant for people like you and me.

Did the command in admin mode, runs a lot smoother, but still crashes...

Annoying when something doesn't have a straight-forward solution.

Not sure if this will help but figure I'll toss it out there:

I have windows 7 as well. How I shut UAC off is by going to my start menu, typing 'UAC' and then on the UAC controls I move the slider all the way down to disable it. Your pc will then prompt you to restart. I've had to turn it back on from time to time then back off because EA's stupid origin client doesn't get the idea when I give it permission to update the first time it crashes when UAC is OFF. But then I turn it back off for NR2003 because that game crashes when it's on lol.

I'm not sure how else the game could crash when hitting drive if UAC is off.

I'll try to turn it On and Off again and see what happens.

What baffles me is that when I originally installed it back in 2011, I had zero issues with it. Oh NR2003 and modern computers... never wanting to work together.

I have to get the idiot question out of the way; did you restart your machine immediately after running the command? I usually have to (after running the command) to get NR2003 to run on anything newer than XP.

Yep, did that immediately afterwards. Figured that would solve the issue, but alas, nope.
