Did they make 08 for the PC or just the consoles this year?

No. EA Sports hasn't released a NASCAR PC game since NASCAR SimRacing in 2004. Papyrus is trying to regain its company.

I hope they get it because EA just can't get Nascar right, Papy should have never let EA get the rights to make the game.

Let EA stick with Madden.

That's good news about Papy. Do you have a link where you saw/read it from so I can read it and be elated they are gonna get back in the game?

Not doubting you, just wanting to pass on the good news there.

Papyrus no longer exists. The remaining members of Papyrus are now called iRacing from what I understand.

As far as the NR2003 vs. EA question...it depends on what you want. If you want a game that's as realistic as you can get, go with NR2003. If you want arcade-type physics, go with EA.

I still think EA blows. :p

You got NASCAR HEAT too. The game is free:D
The Mod Squad - Downloads
COT's
2006 CTS mod
2006 Cup
Sportscar GT mod
Group C

You must unlock the "hardcore" mode.

PS
You can edited the "physics" freely:lol:

Man I loved Nascar Heat too.

Dirt to Daytona was probably the best nascar game ever released on the ps2.

I picked up NASCAR 08 (as I buy all the NASCAR games that get released for systems I own) and was pretty disappointed. They took out a lot of the features I liked, but the biggest disappointment is that when they heard that all the COTs looked the same, they only did ONE design so every single COT on the game looks like a Chevy. It's very disturbing seeing Roush, Evernham, Petty, Red Bull, ect. in Chevys. :( As always, the Trucks have one fugly design as well.

just click on the Mod Squad - Downloads. It's a great site for Heat and they are doing some great things with this seven year old game!

I've played the EA games and would never go back to them. NR2003 is the best. Though I would love to see a NASCAR game for the Wii.

I perfer NR2003 because the racing is a lot better and you can put whatever you want on a racecar. The EA Sports racing games only give you a certain number of decals for a racecar, and all the racecars are on the current year in which the game came out (In NR2003 you can run racecars from a newer or older model years anytime you want).
