Driver hands? Someone implement into a Cup mod please. lol

This open wheel mod looks great, not sure how good V1 was though (I only ran it once when it first came out)

Big fan of the Smiffsden Indy mods...I esp. like the way they go about "fixing" the ride height issue that plagues the pta physics...using one of the makes as a player-only make that is set higher off the ground. Brilliant.

Absolutely amazing, I did not realize that the tachometer could be designed to look like a meter. 0_O

The one issue is that the shift will magically move by itself. lol

Never did think of that lol. But it's not like it hasn't been since the game came out. Right now the cars magically steer and shift, but I think it would still be cool since most of the time you aren't shifting unless it's a road course.

Seriouslly though, we have Brcup12, this mod, last years Nationwide mod is 99% up to date, and Om3ga is creating a new truck mod. This is incredibly awesome!

As for the hands....I bet that they're modeled as part of the steering wheel/

Well, the wheel in-game is just there for if you're either not using a wheel or are having trouble with getting your steering ratio right. The connection to the steering wheel is purposely supposed to be below your field of view in order to give an "augmented" feeling of realism when you have a wheel just below the screen view. That's why it can be disabled.

2012: The re-birth of Nr2003

Don't discount 2004 through 2011, each of them brought something new and amazing to NR2003. (y)

Yup they are, they're tied to the windshield buildup switch, so if you don't want to see the hands, just untick it and it'll just be the wheel. Unticking the wheel will remove both regardless of the windshield setting.

It's not quiet so simple as plonking them on the wheel in max though, as if you do that, they end up being too close to your "head" ingame and you get that horrible slow draw in issue on them, these ones were particularly tricky to get running right because of that issue, if you saw how it was all laid out in max you'd wonder just how in the hell it looks the way it does ingame XD

There's an issue with the right hand mirror too where it flicks between a super wide angle and it's proper view, but it only shows itself now if you hit the wall really hard, or are flying around like a paper plane somewhere, it seems if the mirror moves off screen, then the contents of the mirror get adjusted to compensate.
