Some online questions

Was wondering what you guys used to race online. I've had a look at some program that I think most everyone uses but never tried it and ended up getting deleted. Is there any way to still use the actual games internet to get online, even if it's been down for some time, like direct IP or something? Tried using a P2P program called Wippien but that gives whoever isn't the host around 200 ping and it's unplayable since the cars just teleport around the track. Thanks for the help guys.

I usually race on a dedicated server, occasionally my friends and I will mess around on Hamachi. If you want to join random servers, get SMS Lobby. And use a controller or wheel to race
