Hi guys
Well, sort of. I´ve been painting NR2003 cars for some years now, all for private use or by request to friends. To do this, I´ve been using PaintShopPro 9 and in the last year PSP X2.
The problem came when, about 3 weeks ago, I updated the drivers of my graphics cars, an Nvidia 9800GTX, to the latest original Nvidia ones.
Since then PSP9 and X2 refused to run. I checked Corel Corp. site and all I could find related with this was a reference to the fact that both programs had compatibility problems with Nvidia drivers and OpenGL.
So, I got Photoshop CS4 Extented which works ok. THe problem is it does not read pspimage files and so I had to use PSP9 installed in my daughter´s PC to convert all PSP files to PSD format, loosing lots of fine details in the meantime. However, I have kept the original psp files just in case.
So, anybody knows a way to convert PSP files to PSD without loosing vector graphics layers ? I have a bit more than 2,000 files painted, plus homemade logos, and the most affected are the cars painted.
About the installation of drivers, I´ve always used the same procedure:
1. uninstall using Windows Control Panel;
2. reboot:
3. use of DriverCleanerPro to clean all old files related to the old drivers;
4. installation of the new drivers:
5. reboot and that´s it.
Any suggestion will be more than welcome
and thanks in advance !!
