I have been doing this johnson car and right now am looking for some ideas on what to add on the front bumper/hood and the rear end.

the design is based on the valspar paint cans with the swirls and blue base. what can i do??

Having the design on the sides go on the front. Try to see if you can have them kinda turn them into the stripes you see on the primary cars.

@andy.. i'm torn between doing the usual lowes or valspar hood. seems like it needs more than a logo.

@jacobc62.. i would just like the whole swirl to flow and thin out in the back and front

Yeah keep the hood simple with just a logo. You have so much depth on the sides that adding more to the front than needed could be overkill. Looks great thus far.

Put a paint can with the logo clearly showing on the hood and make it Big (but not too big)

The stripes from this year's cars wouldn't look bad, you might even consider making the hood/roof/decklid white, then fill in the roof # blue.

I would make the side design on the front and rear, and then have it fade into the 2012 scheme.

Another thing is I would fill in the lowes logo on the rear panel with the color of the base(navy Blue) Because it really doesn't "stick out."

I would also put lowes on the hood. Reason being, lowes is always on the hood.

yes! that's what i had in mind but didn't know how to include both brands.

I don't want to use the white racing stripes, and i'm going to try to fade the stripes around the ends

there is a side skirt layer, you could just move the layer down or change the opacity, or paint above the layer.

Just noticed its a DMR temp, I dont use them but should be the same principle.

that looks incredible.. i wish i knew how to do designs like that on the side. mine are all pretty basic lol.. i would maybe fade from the top of the front bumper down to the splitter in black.. from the blue to the black.. just my 2 cents
