Southeastern Tornado Outbreak

Mostly everyone knows of the Tornado Outbreak that is still continuing through Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky, and Georgia. I live in east-central Alabama and the closest warning to us at one point was a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Chilton, Autauga, and Perry Counties.


Anyway. if anyone had any kind of experience throughout this outbreak, post it here. Post pictures too!



Tornadic Cells are still moving through northern parts of Mississippi and Alabama, here's a healthy storm in Pickens County, Alabama:

Well, nothing from this outbreak, but in the past a tornado hit a KFC nearby, so the building lost a few pounds.

I'm in the upper northeast, in other words, I'm free of tornadoes but awaiting a gigantic ash cloud.

Still raining pretty hard in east-central Alabama. Luckily, we missed the tornadic thunderstorms and so did Talladega Superspeedway. Hasn't rained there in 4 or 5 hours.

I've had a tornado shred parts of a town 15 minutes from my home. The northeast isn't tornado free. Of course, this was probably about 15 years ago but I can still remember being in a store in Great Barrington hearing this tremendous noise. When we got out of the store, we noticed that the fairgrounds across the street from the grocery store was flattened.

Still more severe weather is coming in from Mississippi. A small squall line is headed toward Meridian, Mississippi. Looks like its getting stronger too.

Tornado Warning now for west-central Greene County and North Sumter County. National Weather Service is indicating a thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado.

That's one thing I don't miss from back home is tornado season....the last year before I moved here a big one tore through Haysville/Wichita....not cool.
