Anyone notice the lap speeds in nr2003 vs real nascar are way off? The nws11 mod runs same speed at dover as the actual sprint cup race. Anyway to slow them down?

I'm not an AI expert by any means, but I believe you could tone down the grip of the track in the track.ini to achieve what you are looking for.

I thought of that too but i questioned if it would make the track harder to drive than it already is

Try running with the AI set between 94% and 96%, and see if that helps.

You can adjust the AI grip level and drag amounts in the track ini without effecting your car.

How do you slow your own car down enough so you dont run the AI over?

Brakes.

The AI shouldnt be that far off pace with you. You need to find ratings that work well and then you can start tweaking things.
