V8 Supercars shown the week after the races starting in two weeks, and BTCC races from this season shown Saturdays at 1, and Tuesdays at 3, as well as DTM

Now if we could only get these on the actual weekend of the event instead of the 12 hour block of Nascar, and all those stupid truck driver shows......

It took this many years for the host networks to bring down their broadcasting fees this far so that a US station could afford them again, I doubt any US station is willing to pay the fees to broadcast series live.

Ummmm....they quit showing v8s and BTCC at least 5 years ago, and that article i linked to is dated a few days ago on V8's website

Maybe he's talking about that Mobile 1 Grid show that they had on earlier in the year.


But yeah I watch a lot of the V8s on Justin.tv and sites like that.

Ah, yea, they had Grid, but it was highlights, these will be full races.

Ive seen em all thrugh torrents, but it will be good to get some exposure for those series.

On another sim forum, i was told DTM would also be shown, but cant find that in writing anywhere

nope never remember seeing full races for the BTCC they'd skip laps here and there when it got no so exciting. the DTM used to be full races fer sure. Don't remeber bout the v-8 cars as i only watched a few of them. They always showed up during the nascar off season.

I haven't watched a full race since Ambrose left and the parts of races I have seen have been F1 style racing were everyone follows the guy in front of them, Make no passes and try and win in the pits, It bored me to tears.

But you you American's want to get giddy over this because it's something to watch while NASCAR is in hibernation, Then go right ahead, But I refuse to watch a race in full until Ambrose and Smoke take a shot at the mountain, I would go in person to go see Ambrose and Smoke (Or any good NASCAR road racer) take a shot at the mountain.

Now, if only we could get Speed to do a little more coverage of the WRC, I love that stuff. Nothing like watching a Focus get airborne in the snow and slide around corners with the Scandinavian Flick maneuver.
