Only five races remain in the 2016 SRD IndyCar Series season, and this weekend we head to Montreal, Canada and the Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve.

Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve is a 2.71 mile permanent race course, located in Montreal, Canada. The track features 10 turns and is making it's second appearance on the SRD IndyCar schedule.

Last week in Japan, James Gegner pulled off the victory in a wreckfest of a race. Only seven cars completed all 130 laps. This weekend should not have as many casualties, with lower speeds and a more spread out pack. But, it's now crunch time. Nearly every driver is still mathematically in this championship hunt. As we near the end of the International Tour, all eyes are now on that Championship Trophy, waiting in Indianapolis. Two races remain to take the International Tour Championship, and Jon Peterson looks to keep his lead this weekend. John Hooper, Sr. enters this weekend as the Driver's Championship points leader, and hopes that he can salvage a good finish on a road course to keep that position.

"Really hoping we can turn things around this weekend. Outside of Mike's win a few weeks back, this season has been abysmal."

@DJ_on_UNSC: Home track for me! I've never been good here but they guys know what they're doing and how to set the car up. Meanwhile you'll find me in my igloo on the Lachine Canal, petting my polar bear and eating frozen maple syrup off of a stick.

"Awesome, awesome to see Kyle on the pole this weekend. Finally looks like we're making strides on our performance. The 00 was a rocket today too, but I just really messed up the hairpin. We'll be quick tomorrow, coming from 15th. But spotting The Mizz the pole on a road course...may be game over before its started."

Guys, I was absolutely swamped with homework this weekend. I will run this race as soon as possible. I'm sorry, I know I have a responsibility with this. School, of course, just takes a higher place than this does.
