Tri-State Motorsports released a statement today saying it's shop, located in Midtown Manhattan, Made it through Irene with only minor damage. Said driver Tyler Newitt- "Really glad the shop made it through okay, we'l definately be ready for the speedweeks.
Everett to All-Star?
[Mooresville, NC] Cody Higginbotham, Driver of the number 26 Brad Smith Racing Ford Taurus/Fusion/Dodge/Pontiac in the ARCA Band-Aid, Coca-Cola, Bondo Series is looking for a ride in the SRD Series. "I'm having a lot of fun driving for Brad Smith in ARCA but I feel like the SRD Series is the best series to compete in at this point and maybe someone will get fired or injured and I can drive for them "said Higginbotham".
[Vancouver, Canada] Canadian Tire series driver Skye Jones is looking to make the move to the SRD nationwide series and is looking at options to put himself into a good ride with a new team. Here is a quote direct from Skye, " Ive really enjoyed racing through the ranks here in Canada and am very thankful to everyone who has giving me an opportunity and look forward to the future."
Guys... you have to wait until next season.
REALTREE TO BECOME FULL TIME SPONSOR OF THE #26
News out of the MotoRD-X stable, as part owner Daniel Dennis announced that Realtree will become the primary sponsor of the 26. Aarons has oppted to the special events only. Paint scheme to be reveiled late Tuesday evening.

AJ Stravato to Iron Horse Motorsports?
Reports saying that driver Tim Brangan has been moved to the locked out list, leaving a free spot open in the #24 Dodge. Reports also say that AJ Stavato might move into the seat.
UPDATE: AJ Stravato has been confirmed as the new driver of the #24, with Quaker State jumping on as full time sponsor.
I really hate to go with driver changes which close to the season starting, but AJ really wanted the spot and I think he deserves to be in the series. So I'm putting him in and kicking out the lowest ranking member.
As of now, all drivers are LOCKED IN. No more driver changes.
Adam Tander nearly chokes to death
[Buffalo, New York] It was that one pink frosted sprinkled donut that could of been fatal to Tander on Saturday. The full-time SRD Nationwide and Indy driver could of been no more, lucky for him a citizen saved his life!
"Yes it's true, I wouldn't say it was fatal because that would be non-realistic. It was just a choke, and besides they where nice."
Missimer/WALZ Motorsports Announces New Sponsorship Deal for 68
Kyle Missimer and the 68 team are proud to announce that they have come to terms with associate sponsor Boost Mobile, to serve as primary sponsor for the team in select special events this season.
US Army back to RSC Racing
The US Army colors will be back on the #02 RSC Racing Dodge Challenger for four races during the 2011 SRD Nationwide Series season.
ATN Autosport and the #32 team announce they will be changing to Honda, starting next season. Exide Batteries has signed on for an additional 2 more seasons, along with 5-hour Energy signing on as a secondary sponsor.
ATN Autosport also mentioned the possibility of fielding a second car for the series. More details coming soon.
MEMPHIS AND CHARLOTTE TO BE REPLACED
Word out of SRDOLI (Sim Racing Design Offline Leagues, Inc.) says that Memphis and Charlotte have pulled out of their spots on this seasons schedule. Memphis was going to be race 3, while Charlotte was race 18. Memphis is going to be replaced by Walt Disney World Speedway, while Charlotte will be replaced by Outward Speedway.
WEBSTER, 3M TO JOIN SERIES NEXT SEASON
Zack Webster has announced this evening that he will join the next season of the SRD Nationwide Series with 3M as his sponsor. Webster did not join the inaugural season because of sponsorship issues, which have now panned out.
Venom energy drink and GoDaddy sign on with Everett:[SOUTH BEND, IN]Chris Everett announced today that Venom Energy Drink and GoDaddy would be sponsoring Chris Everett in 2012. Vizio and National Guard's contracts end after this year. "It's great to see sponsors have great interest in us. Grabbing new sponsors give me confidence. We'll show you the ride Soon™".
UPDATE:It appears that Venom Energy has cancelled their sponsorship with Everett. Everett has said that National Guard has signed back on as well.Budweiser has also expanded their sponsorship from All-Star Racing teammate Wesley Slates to Everett's car for special events next season.
Jayski: Hearing that Castrol may be joining the Moto-RDX 53 team with Roger Sandri. No confirmation yet however, just a strong rumor.
A quick render of the new scheme for the #32 Exide Honda Accord driven by Adam Simons was posted on ATN Autosport's website just a few moments ago. Rumors are still speculating about the team fielding a second car.
"Right now it looks like everything will go as planned, we are going to field a second Honda Accord in the SRD Nationwide Series starting next season. We are currently working out the final details with our sponsors and such, but it really does look promising. Driver is TBA as of now, expect updates in the near future."
Dan, not sure if you're aware of this or not, but default, Disney only holds 32 cars. You'll have to add stalls if you want to run it.
