We're not in Kansas anymore! We are two weeks removed from the last race on the SRD Online Racing League schedule where we saw Dan Asher getting his first win of the season after an exciting battle with Trey Coleman and Darren Ingram. A wreck led to Ingram's demise as he wound up finishing 8th while Coleman held on to a second place finish. Jesse Dalton was the surprise as he was able to come home in third with Andrew Burr and Ray Tustin in his first race rounding out the top 5. For most of the season the drivers mostly deal with left turns, but tonight that changes. The SRD League will make its first road course stop here at Watkins Glen. This fast, 2.45 mile race course has just undergone a mass repaving making faster than ever. It's going to take speed and smarts to get around this track and work the strategy to your advantage. Will we those who normally run up front or will a first time winner break through on strategy?
The caution flag flew early and often in the beginning portion of the race as several cars took noticeable amounts of damage that ruined their days. Noah Joyce took enough damage to be forced to retire in 11th place. Joshua Michaels had a disappointing first start in the league as he blew an engine and wound up finishing 10th. Sean English faced several problems in his first start too, getting into the barriers multiple times and blowing tires like it was going out of style. He came back to finish 8th. On the other end of the spectrum it was Zack Webster getting his second win of the season after some late race strategy and luck. He was able manage his lead and save enough fuel to bring it back to the line. Andrew Burr was also forced to save fuel but was able to hold onto the second position after Trey Coleman pitted late enough to have fresher tires and enough fuel. Jesse Dalton was able to finish sixth after a tight battle with Dan Asher late race. Ray Tustin was forced to give up second position as he pitted for fuel late in the going after realizing he was going to come up short. He came in six

The SRD Online Racing League will ditch the pavement and race in the mud tonight, as they head towards Rossburg, Ohio to race at the historic Eldora Speedway. Despite the this oval appearing ordinary, these drivers will be sawing at the wheel all night and turning right more so than left. Who will be able to slide-job their way into victory lane tonight to clinch a Chase spot, or will we see a repeat winner? Zack Webster was able to grab the win late in the race at Watkins Glen and will be a strong favorite. Jake Oakley and Daniel Webster are the other drivers with wins this season at 2 and 1 wins respectively. Andrew Burr sits highest in points without a win with Trey Coleman only 1 point behind. Travis Baker, Jesse Dalton, Brendon Hayes, and Noah Joyce and in a fight those last points positions to make the Chase.
1/27 Eldora (Night)
2/10 Darlington (Night)
3/3 Charlotte (Night)
3/17 Kentucky (Night)
4/3 Iowa (Night)
4/17 Homestead (Night)
It was a crazy race at Eldora. Zack Webster showed strength throughout the entire race and came home to win 2 races in a row. Andrew Burr was a strong contender early but pit road issues relegated him back to finish 6th. Jake Oakley blew an engine early and finished 7th. Ray Tustin was able to battle late with Webster but wound up finishing 2nd. Jesse Dalton got lucky with many late race cautions to finish 3rd on the lead lap after one point being 6 laps down. Noah Joyce and Jacob Craigo finished 4th and 5th respectively.
I totally forgot the points and the finishing order from Saturday's post. oops
