A few fun facts...
In 2007 John Gregorio won the inaugural 9 race Pick'em Title by 178 points. Won 2 races.

In 2008 (Pick'em's first full season), DE3 started the Chase in 7th, 260 points out, and went on to win the Championship by 186 points. He won 3 races in the Chase.
In 2009, DannyM started 1st, 110 up, and finished 1st, 331 up. He won 3 races in the Chase.
Both Danny and DE3 won the most races in the Chase in their respective title years, and accumulated the most bonus points in those Chases. If anything, it shows that finishing well competitively, and getting bonus points is going to win you the title.
