Scoring announcement time, folks.

I regret to announce that I failed to notice the change in the Sprint Showdown transfer rules for this year in that there were 2 segments where the winner of segment 1 could and would completely sit out segment 2. That being the case, I've taken some time to figure out how best to deal with that. The conclusion I came to is that no points will be awarded for any picks regarding the Sprint Showdown. It's the only fair way to handle this. I can't award points for picking Biffle since he didn't run Segment 2, and I can't award points for picking Bowyer who won after Biffle sat out. For all we know, Biffle would have won Segment 2 had he run but he didn't have to because of the new rules.

So unfortunately there will be no bonus points awarded for any Sprint Showdown picks this year. Sorry, but assuming the rules don't change again, next year there will be opportunities to earn points for picking both segment winners. Thanks for your understanding.
