i have one for the 2010 Chevy template... needing one for the Ford Toyota and Dodge

any help appreciated. i am unsure as of how this layer is made...

Yo. I will answer this question. I have been put in charge of doing the bump maps for some templates. I've been slow moving and I'm sorry since college is kicking my a$$ <-- Kids, don't repeat that last word...seriously. Anyway, you can use the chrome layer from the Chevy template on any other template. Maybe a better one will come out later, I don't know. Until then, that's what ya get. :) You'll get bump maps as soon as my teachers and college find it fit. Cheers.

as this does work temporarily, there is a point when using a very dominant silver layer (as is Edwards #99 Aflac night scheme) that you see the chevy outlines around the ford decals... it just doesn't look very good...

but i will wait... thanks for the heads up though. ive never done anything with bump maps and 3d models... so please take your time. i'd rather they look accurate than 'rushed' :Randy-git:

Honestly Skippy, (since I don't know your name), Bump maps are rather quite easy. I shall instruct all on how to create such amazing things.

Create a layer in photoshop, or whatever your using, over the top most layer. Paint it a medium gray. Now, any part that you want to bump OUT, you color a lighter color (light grey or white) and anything you want to recess into the body, you paint a darker shade of gray than the layer you created. Does that make sense?

Now the closer to white you go, the higher it bumps out and the closer to black you go, the more it recesses into the body. Capiese? <--That's Italian for "understand".

Anyway, explore from there if your in a rush. It don't take an expert to make a bump map. Have fun and I look forward to your results.
