Start and Park

Is there a way to have the start and park teams actually end up out of the race on this game? I know you can mess with the ratings with them to finish bad. But its always a pain to see Joe Nemecheck running at the finish of a race being 13 laps down. Thanks

Not sure its possible. Unless you turn the mechanical failure thing way up.

You could make all the ratings zero. I'm not sure though.

How do you turn the mechanical failure up? Is it under the AI?

I don't think it's possible - well. . . at least the reliability thing on low really doesn't change much, apart from a few races a season when they DNF before the start.

I just put them on really slow settings - the worst thing is if there is a huge wreck, they miss it and the S&P's come like 15th!

I think reliability has to be 0 - 0 and Consistency has to be 100 - 100

I recently jacked down a bunch of the start 'n parkers (Nationwide Mod) to a min. reliability rating of 1 and a maximum of 5. It usually results in a couple 'start n parks' each race...the first one out in my most recent race was the #90 (hey, pretty realistic, huh?)

Yeah that is the most accurate way. Doesn't always work but its the closest thing to S&P
