Whenever I go down a straightaway in NR2003, I still have to hold my wheel a good bit to the left or right. I can't hold the wheel straight. Anyone know why and what I can do to fix it?

It's supposed to do that. But if you don't want it, change the setup to easy.

As markmartin5 said, it's supposed to hook, that's so the car can turn left easier.

I usually have to hold it to the right. It helps my car go through the corner better.

Meh, it may just take some getting used to. I've had NR2003 installed on my laptop for awhile now mainly for car file making and offline leagues. I haven't raced too much with it since my other computer crashed.

You could always take your wheel apart and index it like the real ones.... lol

Yea its supposed to have some pull in it, alot of it due in part to the camber.

The only time you don't experience that is on the roadies.

Yeah, the wheel turns right a little bit just to go straight because the camber favors the left side to make the car turn easier. Maybe adjust that along with the toe-in/toe-out.

You really dont want to try to compensate for that at all because it will slow you down in the turns pretty significantly

You can counter the setup hooking the steering to the right or left by counter calibrating it. That's what I've been doing for 3 years. Works pretty well for me, and it doesn't slow me at all.

i have a g25 wheel. i had to calibrate my wheel like 10 times. seems when you calibrate you need to turn you wheel to the right not hard but in-tell you get to the end of that line. you will still be able to turn it more but dont then turn it back to the right tell you get to the end of that line. you dont want the wheel line in the center when your done you want it a littel to the left or right i forget what i got my set to. but i have had to calibrate mine several times to get it right hop this helps.

1. This is not really a problem using the default Fast setup.
2. That is why I always use the default setups and rarely anything else offline.
3. Even the default Fast setup steers to the left A LOT until you patch the game.

You did patch the game, right ???

It could also be a calibration issue with your device, try recalibrating your device in the control panel and see if that helps, but yeah i agree with everybody else that it can be down to just the camber setup and/or your car is just having a bad race day, you can also set the reliability to 90 min and 100 max and aero to 90 min and 100 max (in the opponents setting on the car you use) personally i like to set reliability on my car to min 40 and max 80, aero 20 and max 80 as i prefer the rookie team/ driver side of things, all the big names i put at respectable settings so there racing hard even though i dont have a hope in hell catching them, but it makes that top 10 much more rewarding when or if i ever get there!

The fast setups still hook a bit even on a patched game.

That's normal, my wheel is calibrated as straight as an arrow, and it still does that don't worry about it.
