I am not sure if this is the right section for this but here goes...

I have 3 things to say:

#1 In re-watching the 2012 Pennsylvania 400, it occured to me that the finish to that race with the bad storm could have been much worse. If NASCAR had not taken 2 extra laps of caution to figure out the running order, the race probably would have run at least 1-2 more green flag laps. The next caution would likely have been a massive wreck when the rain hit causing absolute mayhem at the finish. This would have caused teams to take longer to cover things up, NASCAR longer to clean up and would have put more people in danger so kudos to NASCAR for deciding to keep it under caution.

#2 I may be completely wrong in this but i seem to remember seeing a youtube clip of a NASCAR finish back in the 70's or 80's that ended under rain in which several cars crashed on the final lap. If anyone knows of which race this might be or has a clip please post it because its driving me crazy!

#3 I also realized that primarily, Miss Sprint Cup is paid to stand next to the winning driver during his interview and smile at him. My sides hurt from laughing so hard. No disrespect to her/them its just funny to be smiled at while trying to talk about the race.
And no :google_it_noob: because i already did :D

That's nothing new. It's just like the old Ms. Winston Cups who stood in victory lane. Only difference is the Miss Sprint Cup gets a social media role within NASCAR that didn't exist back then.
