Ive been running nr2k3 forever but see that Iracing has a super late model mod out! All I use nr2k3 for is the late model mod. should i invest in iracing for the super late models and what short tracks they have too offer? thank you

Well my first question is how well does your PC run Nr?

Also, I believe the SLM is either a Class D or C series, meaning that you would have to go through the rookie series in street stocks and legends before moving up to the Late Model.

Another thing you have to consider is the fact that iRacing isn't like NR2003 where you buy the game and you never pay a cent again, iRacing is subscription based. So you pay either monthly or yearly and each car and track costs extra.

Cars and tracks will run you $10-15 each.

When you buy your subscription, you get what you need for the rookie series with it, then everything else is extra. There are promo codes around that you could use to get a trial of iRacing. Usually these codes give you an offer of having a month plus all the rookie cars and tracks for $1 or so.

Another thing to consider is the fact that it is online only. You can test offline, but all the racing is online. So if you enjoy racing with AI mostly in NR, you won't get that with iRacing.

But anyway, the list of all the tracks is here: Featuring more than 60 laser scanned tracks | iRacing.com
Cars here: Featuring more than 30 authentic racecars | iRacing.com

You'll be able to run weeks 4, 5, 6, and 11 by just the base content. You'd only need to buy 4 more tracks to put a full season effort together. (Best 8 weeks of the 12 count)

Plus if you put together 8 weeks in a D+ class you get season credits( believe d and c are 4 bucks for each series)
