That's the same race we were basing the track off of. We just elected to go with white walls instead of the yellow. Thanks for sharing 2guns.
Ah okay, makes sense, I was just a little lost at the yellow

I don't think this is a video game. I think this is what you see when you enter an alternate dimension. This does not look like it was made by just a team of guys who like racing. It's absolutely amazing!!!

I would be the one concerned about fps, but who am I kidding, this looks amazing! This is some unreal effort you guys are putting into this track. Truly hope you guys work on getting all the very outdated tracks updated with the same heart and time being put into Charlotte! Can't wait to drive on it!

I don't think FPS are going to be a massive issue provided you've done the work recommended to improve and balance your graphics, and you're running on a semi-modern-ish machine (not some ancient laptop).
From what I have seen, a fair number of people having issues are people that:
- have nvidia cards that specifically don't play well with NR2003
- didn't do the work on their end ensuring they adjusted graphics accordingly/optimized to work on their system (compressed cars/pit crews, graphical tweaks, etc), this includes troubleshooting and proper installation
- or are trying to run all the modern stuff on a laptop/rig that barely qualifies as a Chromebook, much less a decent computer

If I can run their stuff, maxed out, with Chrome (20+ tabs), Discord, multi-monitor, and about a dozen background apps and STILL consistently hit 90+ FPS, I don't see how running their stuff will be an issue unless you fall into the aforementioned groups or are simply trying to hit WAY above your weight (i.e. running max graphics with a Pentium II on Windows 95 lol).

For the record: 4790K, 32GB DDR3 RAM, R9 390 at 2560x1080, although I CAN run it on all 3 2560's without too much fps drop. This is not a beastly machine, it's over 4 years old. I simply took the time, did the research, and balanced what I wanted in terms of graphics versus what I didn't 'need' in order to optimize performance. Pro tip: turn down max sounds heard if your low on RAM.

Yeah I'm not on that great of a computer. It's just a simple office computer with nothing special, but I can hit 60 fps easily with medium to high graphics settings. I have a feeling Charlotte will run perfectly fine with what I have for the game.

Our readme files going forward will also include a section on optimizations:
• Quit all running programs
• Ensure all of your cars and pit crew are compressed and 2048px resolution or lower (512px pit crews recommended for slower machines)
• Reduce the maximum number of sounds
• Lower the mirror detail to minimal
