I only see harm to iRacing, a lot of people prefer painting over racing, including myself. I don't really see any wrong in doing so, but all the painters out there who don't race won't subscribe to iRacing, which can cost the company a lot of money with all the people who think the same way I do.

lol, I think all iRacing members joined iRacing to race. I like to paint, but I also like to race, too.

Accually Jeff, I perfer painting much more then racing. I don't do much of either now but I just joined iRacing to be able to use the most realistic sim to date thats being made by the same Papyrus boys that created Nr2003. :) I've never been involved with any leagues or anything, I just race every now and then for my enjoyment. People can debate the cost forever, but the way I look at is if you can't pay it just get over it. There is no reason to constantly bash it for that reason.
