Not trying to degrade the efforts of gszwabowski, but the original Jeff Gordon spotter pack is still in the works, and will be finished. In addition, thanks to determined efforts of Andy1, this project has new life to it.

Thanks to Swillis for the original idea and help, to Andy1 for making sure this project continued, and to Nascarfan15 for his help. Oh, and thanks to everyone here at SRD for helping keep this game going strong, even 7 years after its release.

Edit: Do not install the attached file into NR2003, as it will crash it if you do so.
I hope to have a version converted for use in NR2003 soon. Thank you Andy1 for pointing this out to me.

I don't know the sound rates anyways.

According to wavepad, the sample rate is 5512, but I have never been able to save it at that sample rate. Therefore, if he is still interested, I am going to send the sounds to nascarfan15 for conversion.

P.s. Thanks for the link.

Wow, sounds like RP Motorsports has provided some motivation for spotter pack projects. ;)

Sorry, I forgot to mention that the file that I attached yesterday is not ready to be installed into NR2003, although I will see about getting it converted for NR2K3 as soon as possible.

Although at the time I made the original post, I did not even know about the JR spotter pack. I will have to try it.

Not this time, just wait and see.

I'm just going to say this. With all these spotter pack projects popping up all of a sudden, I hope everyone trying to do one is really taking their time to do it right or else is going to be a big waste. The Junebug Spotter Pack certainly isnt flawless, but about 99% of the feedback I've gotten, both public and private, has been extremely positive. I put in literally 8 hour days when I worked on it for 14-15 months straight. I also used some pretty sophisticated (and expensive) editing software, as well as 9 or 10 years of previous experience with this kind of software.
The point I'm trying to make is this really isnt the type of project that you can get into by downloading audacity or some other free sub-par program, and putting in a month or two of work. The end result will be pretty bad.

Thats just my piece of advice for everyone that wants to make a spotter pack now. It takes a great deal of time, effort, the right software, and maybe just a bit of know-how if you want to do one that is going to be half decent. Otherwsise, you'll just be wasting your time.
With that being said, good luck!

:skeptical:Lol, yea I'm sure you didnt know about it. The thread has been all over the first page in the forum quite a bit. ;) Its all good brother, I'm just giving you a hard time. My original post was more or less a joke. The Junebug Spotter Pack comes out and now all of a sudden theres at least 3 different spotter packs in the works. Its good to see people wanting to do something for this sim, and if my efforts have inspired people to do something, I'm happy to see it.

I certainly understand what you are saying. Trying to speed through it will get it done quickly, but will result in a very bad product.

To be honest, I have not been reading the forums for about 4-5 months.
So it was not until after I created this thread and went back to the NR2003 General Discussion subforum, that I saw the thread for the Junebug spotter pack
