Thoughts on Codemasters F1 2012?

I went out yesterday and picked up F1 2012 for the PS3. I was kinda disappointed how bad it was with my G27. Other then that playing with the controller I've managed to have a lot of fun with it so far. Mulitiplayer has been a hoot (got on with a good group.) Loving the new Austin track, It's gonna be a great venue for F1 and other racing series.

Just curious what some of your opinions on the game are so far?

Got it on the PC and I am really pleased with the game, AI improved heavily and the handling is awesome with the XBOX360 gamepad.

I don't get mine til the 27th, but after playing the demo I'm really pleased so far with it. Handling was great.

I haven't gotten my copy of it yet, but I logged about 10 hours into the demo. I loved it. I'm extremely excited for when I can get the game. Need to save my money up.

The game at its core is still the Masterpiece we have grown to love.
Although the Season limit in career mode has been kept at 5, and the new menus kinda take the "Live the life" feel out of the career mode. The racing itself is great, The A.I actually have attitudes now, like for instance youll see the Williams or Saubers or Force Indias staying out getting loose on old tires to try and finish up front and as the race winds down the A.I takes some risks. Also the weather changing during a race is pretty cool to. The Driving model has been a bit refurbished to where you feel a bit more in control of the car.

All in all.
8/10 for me.

Dan and I played the heck out of it Xbox Live.
I'll pick it up once it goes down in price, seeing as I don't want to pay full retail for it. (n)

I heard nothing but negative vibes in another forum...they keep complaining about bugs that they encounter, graphics seem too flat, penalties are inconsistent as ever, AI still not racy, etc etc etc.

I'll just wait until Steam announces a sale for F1 2012.
