This of course may be a futile attempt to get whatever across to you and point out your contradictions right here in your own forum. Main reason being the fact Matt O loves to censor away and lock entire threads he feels challenged or threatened in whatever way. And normally threads such as the previous two in where you're inviting this sort of thing in the first place....And of course, I'm one to defend myself and those around me from your community assassination attempts of not only myself & Denis, but his new site which is something you shouldn't even be involving yourself with. To this comment of yours...
Okay, yet it was perfectly alright for JJ to start on his original cot mod when there was already two others out (RNR, Nisbett) before Denis even attempted one? Where's the logic in that Matt, and why weren't you making a similar case then? Fact of the matter is we can create whatever we wish considering we're investing our own free time at it. We set out to build a high detail build on the scale of something that's never been attempted before, we're pleased with the result as are others. So we should have refrained from an agreed upon project again why? Because JJ simply 'announced' he was undertaking a similar project? You also seem to forget that he announced he needed the communities help for the thing to even see the light of day before it was even released. I think it's time for you to abandon this tired angle of trying to point the finger at us as doing something wrong by providing a community mod...For free!
Also, zero objection from Matt O regarding the release of JJ's (or whoever's cot mod) hours on the heels of the Rioux one. No doubt on purpose, and no doubt to divide as many in the community as possible by design. Denis could have done similar when they released the spoiler a few weeks ago, and he would have if that was his priority....But obviously it's not. He's holding off for accuracy and build quality which is what we're all about.
You can argue in whatever mod you're in support of to no end, but here we are with you calling us out as the bad guys again with your flawed logic. Here's the truth behind the cot mods no matter which one you're in support of. When bullring received that mod from JJ it was about 75 percent complete except for zero textures and a few odds and ends. They spent roughly three months texturing that mod out and piecing it together with pre existing pieces from other mods like the gn63 mod. Whereas the Rioux build took upwards of a year, was totally gone through yet again for V2, and here it is a third time around now to polish it even more for this all important spoiler feature. That's A LOT of work and dedication, way more than three months on a semi finished project. Yet the Rioux team is at fault for feeling compelled to defend a project they spent over a year perfecting from the ground up and dumped a ton of time into? I don't think so Matt. I think it's human nature for anybody to stand up and defend that sort of expelled effort, especially when it's shared with the public with no questions asked.
Aside from the mods, the way you treated Denis Rioux here is a joke. Let me point out what should be obvious by now to anybody reading this including you, Denis Rioux is a huge asset when it comes to this thing. Nobody has invested the sort of time he has to provide mods into the double digits for anybody to freely use. And nobody is more skilled as a modeler when it comes to getting models into the sim which gives us these mods to start with. I haven't seen Matt O dump upwards of ten mods on the community. Denis is a big asset to us all and that's undeniable at this stage of things. The fact that you play dumb to that, let alone treat him like he's just another kid that signed up to your painting site is pathetic.
So that's where we are. Only you no doubt as Jack pointed out are intent on taking it all a step further by calling out myself and others as 'bashers' and the 'bad guys'....Still! And as far as bashing goes, here's a great example of that courtesy of one of your own. Only the community never got to see that one because Matt O happened to sweep it under the rug before, god forbid, Matt O's friendly site may be mistaken for even worse bashers than the supposed 'bad guys' over at Rioux. That was directed at BCR, the worst of it in black (the personal attack of an avatar) edited out by me. That would be like me attacking 'Hoosierdaddy's' personal avatar (that would be a bash to really complain about no doubt, huh Matt?)

Lets recap that stupidity, an entire release thread for the last Rioux build was hijacked at the RuRa forum (in protest of their own members there) by a certain few with nothing else in mind but to attack me personally (and I wasn't even involved in the thread!) That hasn't happened to any announcement threads involving JJ, or bulring, so who is being biased here? After that Hitler video though, and after 1,000 plus views on that thread, it too was swept under the rug. And lets not forget your 'everyone' ('nextelracer' who instigated it) was also just banned from the bullring (who you support obviously) for stirring up a bunch of havoc there, was he not?
So how about the following, don't wield your admin power to sweep this one under the rug or lock it up (unless it gets hairy of course) But this agenda to make us all out to be bad guys pointing out this & that when you and your own members are just as guilty as anybody else, enough with that, alright?
