I'm just wondering, but has anyone taken up the task to make Travis Pastrana's car for nationwide mod? The one he was suppose to race at indy.

haha, no problem man.... i was hoping i'd be the first and so far only person to make the car. and so far i've seen that i'm the only one that has his car for the NWS mod done. so i've been walking around kinda proud lately after i had one of the top downloads on the site for several days lol

Just out of curiousity, why does it matter to be the first and/or only to have painted a particular car? I hope that doesnt sound harsh because I'm just wondering.

I see that kind of thing in the showroom sometimes when a new scheme is unveiled, theres always a few people that jump on the task of trying to be the first to paint it. It just kind of seems like a pointless motivation to have. People should paint cars because they enjoy painting them, not to be the first. Plus the end result usually ends up looking like a car that was rushed and somewhat half-assed due to the agenda of wanting to post a render first and get compliments (by the way, I'm not refering to your car at all, its more of just a general statement on what goes on in the showroom at times).

Hopefully that doesnt come across as some kind of rant or something because that wasnt the intent. I've just honestly wondered why some are motivated to be the first to paint and post a particular car.
